During an internship with product designer Ilja Oelschlägel and in cooperation with Studio Neue Museen, I focused primarily on sustainable production and the exhibition setup for the interactive knowledge exhibition at the Technische Sammlungen Dresden.
This exhibition provides insights into exhibition methods and informs about the latest results.
Sustainable production is reflected in the use of recycled materials. For instance, discarded table tops from Dresden's administrative offices were repurposed as bases for the exhibition furniture. Scrap felt from the textile industry was used as cushioning for the seating, and straps made from used fishing nets serve as mounts for the recycled acrylic panels.
